Built on your Strava data

See what your training is actually telling you

TrailSmart syncs your full Strava history and turns it into clear trends — pace, elevation, and consistency — plus a dedicated skiing dashboard and race plans built from your own data, without scrolling through activity feeds or building your own spreadsheet.

Who it's for

Built for how you actually train

Runners

Track pace, distance, and elevation trends across every training block, not just the last 30 days.

Hikers & backpackers

See total elevation gain and time on trail by season, without digging through individual activities.

Skiers

A dedicated skiing dashboard — vertical descent, ski days, and a season heatmap.

Multi-sport athletes

One view across run, ride, ski, and swim — grouped by type, not chronological scroll.

The problem

Strava's activity feed wasn't built for analysis

The native feed is great for logging a workout and sharing it with friends. It's a slow way to answer "am I actually improving," "how much did I climb this year," or "which month had my best consistency."

Scrolling the feed

One activity at a time, no totals, no trend line.

Exporting by hand

Activity-by-activity CSV downloads, stitched together yourself.

TrailSmart

Synced automatically, summarized by type, and turned into a race plan.

What you get

Synced automatically. No spreadsheets.

Automatic sync

New activities pull in from Strava without manual exports.

Full CSV export

Every activity, every field, one file, whenever you want it.

Elevation, in feet or meters

Gain, high point, and low point — in the units you actually think in.

Race plans, saved and editable

Built from your own historical pattern, not a generic template — then save it and adjust workouts as you train.

Type-by-type totals

Distance, time, and count grouped by sport, with an overall total row.

A dashboard, not another feed to scroll

TrailSmart groups every activity by type and shows totals, averages, and trends side by side — the same summary you'd otherwise have to build yourself in a spreadsheet.

Your history, exportable in one file

Every synced activity — distance, moving time, elevation, pace — writes to a single CSV you can open in a spreadsheet, feed into another tool, or just keep as a backup.

Access & privacy

Read-only, and revocable whenever you want

OAuth via Strava

You authorize TrailSmart through Strava's own login. We never see your password.

Read-only access

TrailSmart can read your activities. It can't post, edit, or delete anything on your behalf.

FAQs

Does TrailSmart change anything in my Strava account?

No. Access is read-only — TrailSmart can view your activities but can't post, edit, or delete them.

Which activity types are supported?

Anything Strava tracks: runs, hikes, rides, skis, swims, walks, and more. Unsupported types just show up ungrouped.

Can I export my data?

Yes — every synced activity and field is available as a single CSV download, anytime.

Does TrailSmart build training plans?

Yes — generate a race plan from your own pace and volume history, then save it and adjust individual workouts as you train.

How often does it sync?

New activities are pulled in on each sync run. Historical activities are backfilled the first time you connect.

Can I revoke access?

Yes, anytime, from your Strava account settings — access ends immediately.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Your data is used only to build your own dashboard and export.
